Raising the Bar for the Bar Council
The Bar Council came to us to help invigorate their annual conference held in central London. The event is unique in bringing the whole Bar together in one space to learn and explore a wide variety of topics related to their profession.
This year’s conference took a fresh approach, being held at a new venue in the summer instead of autumn, and on the weekend to make it more accessible for their members. Our idea came from the circle in their logo, which we reimagined as interlocking rings to represent the different members coming together. The main messaging helped enforce this idea, encouraging members to ‘Get together’ and ‘Join Us’ while tying back to the Bar Council brand.
From this core idea, we built out a range of items centred around a simple identity that could be easily updated for following years. This included print and digital adverts, social media templates, direct mail, website graphics, exhibition design, an event programme and sponsorship brochure.
We loved the new identity for Bar Conference – it looked brilliant in the lead up to the event across our digital channels as well as physically at the event. It was such an improvement on previous events. We loved working with the team, they were super helpful and understood what we were trying to achieve from the off.
