Giving the Gift of Freedom
In an increasingly socially conscious world, charity donations are a popular gift. We were asked by Hope for Justice to help them launch their new gift donations initiative. They wanted to provide an option for supporters to donate to the charity on a friend or loved one’s behalf.
We needed to consider all aspects of the customer journey as well as how best to communicate the great work Hope for Justice do in their mission to end modern slavery with a recipient audience who may not be familiar with the charity. Our concept was based around a set of bespoke wrapping paper-style illustrations to help portray inspiring stories of lives changed. Each story had a unique pattern which is used on the card so at the point of order you can select which story you want to send.
This gives the whole campaign a giftable feel, whilst ensuring it never strays too far from the incredibly important work Hope for Justice do and the life-changing real stories they are sharing. The campaign launched in time for UK Mother’s Day and will continue to run on their website.
We were really impressed by the design concepts and campaign ideas presented to us by STB, and the way they developed our preferred option into something really strong and engaging. The new Gifting option is a fabulous addition to our website and the printed cards look great while also telling really powerful survivor stories. We are already seeing supporters make use of this new and fun way of donating to our life-changing work.
