Let’s toast to 125 years of Morrisons!

Morrisons first sold butter and eggs in Bradford Market in 1899. Their brief to us was to design a nostalgic limited edition butter pack that should be a visual celebration of the era. The limited edition pack is being sold to celebrate Morrisons 125th anniversary.

We began the creative process researching Morrisons original store frontage and historic products. It was important our designs felt truly authentic – what better way then the get inspired by the crafted typography of the time.

At STB we work with traditional design methods, putting pencil to paper to produce initial concepts. From there we worked collaboratively with Morrisons to craft the designs and typography.

With their gold packaging and distinct heritage-inspired styling, the packs feel like a nostalgic celebration of 125 years of Morrisons.
